Terra Verde Farm
Hello---we are Amy and Sküter Fontaine, the folks who plant the seeds and pull the weeds at Terra Verde Garden. We are eagerly entering our fourth growing season, and second season serving Whatcom County with a CSA program.
Terra Verde was born out of a love of good food and the ultimate realization that the pleasures of the table BEGIN in the garden. Our goal is to produce vibrant, fresh produce in harmony with the spirit of the land and the people who tend to it. We are committed to the practice and philosophies of organic farming and renew our WSDA organic certification annually. We are expanding this year-doubling our acreage; growing around fifty different types of vegetables, strawberries, flowers and herbs. We are excited to add a few more varieties including sweet potatoes and a mystery crop (keep your fingers crossed) to the mix this year. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our love of food and farming with you and your family this growing season!
